Very cool game that manages to feel even smaller than the pico8 usually does! Great enemy design, sprites look very consistent. I know the description mentions spores but it felt like I was inside the blood stream battling a virus. Excellent job, and makes me want to hit X as soon as I die.

Thank you for the kind words! It actually is smaller than the usual pico8 screen, I’m using the lowres mode at 64 by 64 pixels for this game. Thank you for that the alternative interpretation too, that could totally work as a theme, the nano-ship. :)

So juicy! Great little shmup with a perfect level of challenge for a quick game - I barely survived the swarmlord with just one shield remaining :)

Would it be possible to make the pico-8 cart available for download?
The code is kinda of a mess at this point. I might put a more polished version up here and/or on Lexaloffle BBS later though.
